* A group of private investors including Bain Capital, Merrill Lynch & Co. and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. has received U.S. antitrust clearance to buy HCA Inc. for $33 billion.
* Entercom Communications Corp. agreed to buy 15 stations in four markets from CBS Corp. for $262 million, entering Austin, Texas, and Cincinnati and expanding its presence in Memphis, Tenn., and Rochester, N.Y.
* Classic Party Rentals of El Segundo acquired party-rental companies in Atlanta and Charlotte, N.C., whose combined annual sales are $10 million. Terms were not disclosed. The deals boost Classic’s annual revenue to $180 million.
* Precision Specialty Metals Inc., a Los Angeles stainless steel processor, was bought by Ohio steel processor Worthington Industries Inc. for $33.7 million.
