Everyone pays for frivolous lawsuits

Re “Mock-amole,” editorial, Dec. 4
One women’s displeasure with the amount of avocado used to make guacamole will mean higher prices for all consumers. Although some lawsuits are legitimate, there are many frivolous suits that, even if beaten in court, still force businesses to spend money to fight them and drive up costs for consumers. Frivolous lawsuits only make a few greedy lawyers rich while the rest of us are left paying the price.

How sad that the people at Kraft Foods continue to take advantage of those consumers who, in buying Kraft products, have no idea how real food is supposed to taste.
