Update -- Kings defenseman Oleg Tverdovsky, out because of a groin injury, practiced with the team Friday but said he was still not close to being ready to play. Goaltender Mathieu Garon (groin) is unavailable until next week. Avalanche goaltender Jose Theodore returned from a hip flexor injury to stop 28 shots in a 5-2 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Thursday.
