Touting California but skiing in Idaho

Re “Gov. breaks a leg in ski accident in Idaho,” Dec. 24
The story that was missed in Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s skiing accident is that a California governor prefers to ski in Idaho, when his home state has world-renowned skiing resorts, including Squaw Valley, which was host to the 1960 Winter Olympics. For a governor who claims to promote the state of California, his actions speak otherwise.

Californians have missed the barrage of ads on Texas television by the governor saying that snow falls in California and it is the place to ski. If the governor had taken his own advice, he would have fallen in California in that soft snow instead of in Idaho.
Do I see a hypocrite in Arnold?
