A man was shot dead Saturday outside a Jack in the Box restaurant in Lynwood in an apparent gang-related incident, police said.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Blackpool said the victim, in his 20s, was arguing with two men in the parking lot of the fast-food outlet in the 11200 block of Long Beach Boulevard about 7:45 p.m. when one of the men shot him.
Blackpool said the two men fled in a gold-colored car and may have run over the victim as they drove off.
The sergeant added that the pair remained at large Saturday night.
