Autobytel No Longer Seeking a Buyer

Autobytel Inc., operator of the Car.com and Autoweb.com websites, said it would no longer try to sell the company.

Irvine-based Autobytel also said James Riesenbach, former senior vice president of the search and direction media division of Time Warner Inc.’s AOL unit, would succeed Rick Post as president and chief executive March 20. Post will remain on the board.
