Spots before her eyes in Africa

A photo safari in early September led to this shot of a male cheetah at Mala Mala Game Reserve in eastern South Africa. Phyllis McVicar of Los Angeles was out for a second tour of the day in late afternoon when she captured this image with her Canon Power Shot SD450 Digital ELPH. At one point, an elephant charged McVicar and her travel mates, but backed off before it did any harm.
