1 Killed, 3 Wounded in Shooting

One person was killed and three others wounded in a shooting Monday night in the courtyard of an Oxnard apartment complex, police said.
The shooting occurred about 7 p.m. in the 2000 block of North Ventura Road, Oxnard Police Cmdr. Marty Meyer said.
Of the three persons who were wounded, one was in critical but stable condition at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard. The two others sustained minor injuries and were taken to Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura.
Meyer said investigators were sorting out conflicting statements from witnesses about the gunmen.
