Toys ‘R’ Us Narrows Loss; U.S. Sales Decline

Toys “R” Us Inc. said its second-quarter loss narrowed to $110 million on higher sales at its Babies “R” Us chain and overseas stores.
The loss was $359 million a year earlier. Sales rose to $2.41 billion from $2.1 billion, the Wayne, N.J.-based company said.
Toys “R” Us said sales at U.S. toy stores slid 10%.
