L.A. album: In the Los Angeles Times Magazine’s Dec. 9 issue, a list of quintessential L.A. albums attributed “The Adolescents” (a.k.a. “The Blue Album”) to the Epitaph label. Though the album was distributed by Epitaph in the late ‘90s, its label has been Frontier Records since 1981.
