Thoroughfare to close for repairs

Work to repair loose railroad tracks will close Del Obispo Street, one of the city’s main thoroughfares, between Los Rios and Camino Capistrano next weekend, city officials said. Emergency maintenance by Metrolink crews will begin midnight May 2 and continue through 9 p.m. May 4, replacing a section of track.
Del Obispo will be closed westbound at Camino Capistrano and eastbound at Alipaz Street. Los Rios, which feeds into the city’s historic area, will remain open.
