Memorial for talent manager Charles Joffe set for Aug. 9

A public memorial service for Charles Joffe, the legendary manager of comic talent who coproduced nearly all of Woody Allen’s films, will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Improv, 8162 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles. Joffe died July 9 at age 78.
