Barbara Morrison tops benefit bill

Singer Barbara Morrison and the Phil Ranelin Jazz Quartet will perform tonight at a fundraising concert for the Thurman Green Trombone Scholarship, established in memory of the jazz trombonist who died in 1997.
The event begins at 8 p.m. at Catalina Bar & Grill, 6725 W. Sunset Blvd., Hollywood.
