at Cleveland 97, Indiana 73: With thousands of fans wearing curly, red-headed wigs in his honor, Anderson Varejao didn’t miss a shot and scored 17 points in the first half as the Cavaliers, despite getting a season-low 11 points from LeBron James, won their seventh in a row. James held Indiana’s Danny Granger to four points -- 20 below his average.

at Boston 93, Portland 78: Rajon Rondo followed his first career triple-double with 16 points, eight rebounds and seven assists as the Celtics won their 11th in a row and ended the Trail Blazers’ six-game streak.

at Orlando 98, Oklahoma City 89: Dwight Howard had 21 points and 23 rebounds, his 16th career game with at least 20 points and 20 rebounds, for the Southeast Division leaders. The Thunder fell to 2-18.

at New Jersey 113, Minnesota 84: The Nets had seven players in double figures, led by Vince Carter’s 18 points, as they won for the fourth time in five games.

at Atlanta 98, New York 95: Al Harrington missed a tying three-pointer at the buzzer and the Knicks lost despite holding an opponent under 100 points for the first time in 12 games.

at Houston 131, Golden State 112: Yao Ming scored 19 of his season-high 33 points in the fourth quarter and Ron Artest had 28 points as the Rockets handed the Warriors their eighth loss in a row. Golden State Coach Don Nelson was ejected in the third quarter.

at Utah 114, Toronto 87: In the first game after Sam Mitchell was fired, the Raptors didn’t fare any better under Jay Triano. They committed 23 turnovers and were outrebounded 52-38, including three offensive rebounds, and lost their third in a row.

at Milwaukee 101, Charlotte 96: Michael Redd scored 25 points and Richard Jefferson made two free throws with nine seconds left to help the Bucks hold off the Bobcats.

Lakers 106, at Washington 104: Caron Butler missed a chance to beat his old team with a three-pointer in the final seconds.
