Do you have a budding zoologist on your hands? Give them a chance to say “G’day” to the exotic creatures from the land down under at Australia Day, part of Kidspace Museum’s annual “12 Days of Kidspace” holiday celebration. John Valentine’s Traveling Nature Program presents an up-close-and-personal chance to visit with an assortment of unusual Aussie animals, including a highly sociable, 3-foot-tall wallaby, a white tree frog, a bearded dragon and an assortment of other furry and scaly critters you probably haven’t seen in person before. Limited-seating shows occur every 40 minutes in the Celebration Center, with a special large-scale 2 p.m. performance in the Stone Hollow Amphitheater. Reservations are recommended. 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Fri., Pasadena. (626) 449-9144; www.kid spacemuseum.org
