Avengers are routed by Blaze

SALT LAKE CITY -- Joe Germaine threw six touchdowns to help the Utah Blaze beat the Avengers, 65-56, on Monday night in the Arena Football League.
Germaine completed 16 of 30 passes for 240 yards for Utah (5-10). Huey Whittaker had five catches for 64 yards and three touchdowns.
Avengers quarterback Sonny Cumbie was 23-for-42 passing for 282 yards and four touchdowns. Kevin Ingram had 12 catches for 134 yards and two touchdowns for the Avengers (4-10).
