Man dies after motorcycle crash

A 55-year-old man died after crashing his motorcycle on Soledad Canyon Road between Santa Clarita and Palmdale, authorities said.
The crash occurred near Agua Dulce Canyon Road about 10:50 a.m. Sunday; authorities were called about a downed motorcycle on the road, said California Highway Patrol spokesman Jose Nunez.
Nunez said the man was pronounced dead at the scene and that the road was closed for about an hour while investigators collected evidence.
