A San Gabriel man accused of killing Anaheim Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart and two others in an April car crash pleaded not guilty Monday to three counts of murder, drunk driving and fleeing the scene of an accident.
Andrew Thomas Gallo, 22, who appeared in Orange County Superior Court, is accused of having a blood-alcohol content three times the legal limit and running a red light when he slammed into the victims’ vehicle in Fullerton.
Adenhart was a passenger in a car driven by Courtney Stewart, 20. Stewart, of Diamond Bar, and Henry Pearson, 25, of Manhattan Beach were also killed.
Gallo, who was driving with a suspended license from a prior drunk driving conviction, allegedly ran from the scene and was arrested. He faces 55 years to life in prison if he is convicted.
