Frankie Muniz sells Hollywood Hills West lease home

Frankie Muniz has sold his home in Hollywood Hills West for $3.05 million.

The gated home was built in 1941 and remodeled to have an open floor plan. The kitchen, dining room, living room, family room and two bedrooms occupy the lower level of the two-story home.

Upstairs, the master bedroom suite has a sitting area, a fireplace and dual closets. Two additional bedrooms are also on the upper level of the 4,200-square-foot home, which has four bathrooms.

Outdoor amenities include a swimming pool, a spa, an outdoor fireplace and a viewing deck to take in the cityscape vistas.

A spacious retreat in the woods

Muniz, 28, was nominated for an Emmy for playing the title role in “Malcolm in the Middle” (2000-06). His more recent interests include racecar driving and being a drummer in the band Kingsfoil. He announced last month that he was leaving the band because of upcoming scheduling conflicts.

He bought the house in 2006 for $3,499,000 and has been leasing it out. Among his tenants has been singer-songwriter Cee Lo Green of “The Voice.”

Mary Swanson and Jon Bronson of Westside Estate Agency were the listing agents. Bobby Syed of Coldwell Banker represented the buyer.
