LAS VEGAS (AP) — A hotel official says entertainer Toni Braxton has been hospitalized in Las Vegas.
Braxton was taken to a hospital Monday night with an undisclosed ailment that Flamingo Hotel-Casino spokeswoman Deanna Pettit said was not life-threatening.
Pettit says she expects the 40-year-old Braxton to be released from the hospital Tuesday afternoon. The spokeswoman says she does not know the nature of Braxton’s ailment or where she was when she became ill.
Braxton is in the midst of a two-year run at the Flamingo that began in 2006. Pettit says Braxton did not have a show Monday night and she expects Tuesday’s show to be canceled.
Braxton’s act is called “Toni Braxton: Revealed.”
