Bjork, Keith Urban set Hollywood Bowl dates

The Hollywood Bowl will get a little bit country, and a little bit whacked-out experimental pop this season. Keith Urban and Björk have each announced new dates at the venue over the summer and fall.
Björk’s June 11 Bowl show continues her long-running tour for her latest album, “Biophilia.” The tour, which incorporates a heavy visual and multimedia component, will also make two stops at the Hollywood Palladium on June 2 and 5 with an idiosyncratic “in-the-round” stage setup.
While in L.A., the singer will also collaborate with MOCA to expand the universe of her “Biophilia” app package, which deconstructs the songs and allows users to get their hands dirty in manipulating its sounds. Tickets for all dates go on sale to the public on April 4, with a limited presale April 2.

Meanwhile, on Sept. 27, country-pop singer and “American Idol” judge Keith Urban will debut a bevy of new material at his own Bowl show. His new album is still forthcoming and isn’t expected out before this tour, but he told USA Today that “we may end up playing songs that people haven’t heard yet. So the first time you’ll hear them will be live.”
Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch will support him, and tickets go on sale Friday, April 5 at 10 a.m.
