The Last Kingdom Uhtred’s (Alexander Dreymon) relationship with the king (David Dawson) plummets to a new low after the young Saxon realizes he has been tricked and becomes an enemy hostage. 10 p.m. BBC America
The Returned This French-language series about a quiet Alpine village where some deceased locals start to return without explanation, is back with new episodes. Laurent Lucas, Anne Consigny and Yara Pilartz star. 10 p.m. Sundance

Curse of the Demon An American psychologist (Dana Andrews) in England gets caught up in the machinations of a satanic cult that dispatches its victims via an ancient parchment that summons a malevolent demon in director Jacques Tourneur’s 1957 horror film. Peggy Cummins also stars. 7 p.m. TCM
