Letters: Western Costume the place to go

Great article on Western Costume [“Closet to the Stars,” June 17]. Four decades ago, I dressed my Maltese dog to compete in a Halloween canine event. We went as the Maltese Falcon. I wore a trenchcoat and had a blow-up of a falcon strapped to my wrist. My Maltese, Corbin, sported a Paddington Bear trench coat; his fedora was rented from Western Costume. We won a prize. In my ad agency career, Western Costume was the only place to go for costumes.
