6 recipes for National Mojito Day
Did you know National Mojito Day is Saturday? Because what better way to combat the summer heat than drinking a few very cold cocktails — you’d think somebody actually planned these things. Of course, you probably don’t need an excuse to lift a celebratory cocktail. For some of us, everyday is National Mojito Day. As it should be.
To celebrate, we’ve compiled six of our favorite recipes. Beyond the traditional libation -- fresh mint muddled with lime juice, sugar, rum and perhaps a splash of soda -- we’ve got some fun ideas if you want to get a little fancy -- add fresh strawberries, blackberries, watermelon or more. Because why not?
To get in the mood, here’s a recipe for a pineapple mojito that takes all of five minutes to prepare. Cheers.
