Teacher Appreciation Day: Buy 1, get 1 free at Chipotle and more specials

In honor of National Teacher Appreciation Day on Tuesday, some restaurants around town are offering food and drink specials for educators.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is having a $1 drink promotion. Teachers who present their faculty ID at any participating store location can receive one 12-ounce beverage for $1. The promotion is limited to one per person while supplies last.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is celebrating with a special buy-one-get-one-free deal for school staff at all U.S. locations. Educators with a valid school ID (or home-schooling parents with official documentation) will receive a free burrito, burrito bowl, salad or order of tacos with the purchase of another menu item. The special is available from 4 p.m. until close.

ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen is celebrating with one free entree for all educators who present a valid ID. The promotion is valid at all Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles locations from 3 to 10 p.m.
