Woman stabbed to death in Atwater Village apartment

A woman was killed in an Atwater Village apartment Tuesday morning, Los Angeles police said.
Police found the victim with multiple stab wounds after responding to a call at about 10:17 a.m. on the 3900 block of Veselich Avenue, said LAPD spokeswoman Rosario Herrera. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives have identified a male suspect, but police do not have more information about the suspect or motive, Herrera said. The investigation is ongoing.
