Spilled ink

Like boring miles beneath the ocean in search of fossil fuels, cartooning is a dirty job, but somebody’s gotta do it. And there’s no capping our inkwells. Chip Bok dumped on President Obama’s deepwater exploration moratorium. Matt Bors drilled the black-gold industry with his signature black humor. And Stephanie McMillan took a dim global view of outsourced outrages. Editorial cartoonists work people over by employing irony, wit and sarcasm. Nice work if people get it.
