A charitable offer The organization Cooking for a Cause is hosting a series of classes in Orange County with the goal of raising money for local children’s charities. Wednesday’s class, “Super Bowl With Style,” features three O.C. chefs, including Chris Hutten of Blue Coral Seafood & Spirits, and focuses on the creation of classy but simple game-day eats. Wining and dining Enjoy a four-course meal crafted by chef Nadav Bashan (of Bashan) to complement the flavors of wines from Lioco Winery (which is co-owned by Spago’s wine director, Kevin O’Connor). This relaxed winemakers dinner includes at least two new spring releases from Lioco and features dishes such as Scottish king salmon, Maple Leaf Farms duck breast and chocolate bread pudding. Affordable French The Club Culinaire of French Cuisine is back for 2009. For its first event of the year it’s hosting a three-course bistro dinner with wine pairings at Le Petit Chateau.
