No bomb found after threat closes South L.A. high school

Alain LeRoyLocke College Preparatory Academy in South Los Angeles’ Green Meadows neighborhood was put on lockdown Friday morning after the school received a bomb threat, but police officers did not find any devices, authorities said.
The LAPD’s bomb squad was sent to the school Friday morning, said Officer Norma Eisenman
Officers cleared the area later in the morning.
Police learned of the threat at 7 a.m., but Eisenman said officers were not sure how the threat initially came in.
No students had arrived at the school when the campus, in the 300 block of East 111th Street, was put on lockdown, and staff members were moved off-site, she said.
