Boys water polo: Eagles hammer Lions

COSTA MESA - The Estancia High boys water polo team used a strong
first half and cruised to a 14-4 nonleague win over visiting Westminster
on Thursday.
Eagles’ senior Phil Westfall scored a season-high eight goals to lead
the Eagles (7-6). Matt Thorpe added four goals while Cliff and D.J. Glacy
each scored one.
Estancia jumped out to an 8-3 first-half lead and never looked back.
Goalies D.J. Glacy and Dan Wotta combined for nine saves.
