* Pacific Coast Highway: A male was reported to be spray-painting
a mural on a building in the 700 block at 12:27 a.m. Sunday.
* Portland Avenue: A man was reported to have hit himself over
the head with a beer bottle in the 200 block at 12:45 a.m. Sunday.
* Warner Avenue: A woman was reported as having opium withdrawal
and in need of medicine in the 6000 block at 1:16 a.m. Sunday.
* Nichols Street and Slater Avenue: A man reported that he was a
referee in a soccer game and was hit by one of the players at Nichols
Street and Slater Avenue at 1 p.m. Sunday.
* Yorktown Avenue: It was reported that two males approximately
17 or 18 years old stole two skateboards and fled in the 7000 block
at 1:31 p.m. Sunday.
* San Souci Circle: A man reported that his daughter cashed a
check for her friend that ended up being stolen and the bank took the
$300 out of the daughter’s account in the 5500 block at 1:31 p.m.
Sunday.
* Bolsa Avenue and Bushard Street: A woman reported that her
purse was stolen at gun point and then the suspect fled on foot in
the 200 block at 7:43 p.m. Sunday.
* Main Street: A man was reported to be passed out in a dressing
room of a store and was not moving in the 100 block at 8:03 p.m.
Sunday.
* Warner Avenue and Algonquin Street: Two separate people called
to report that they heard long screeching of tires and then a crash
at Warner Avenue and Algonquin Street at 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
* Queens Lane: An assault with a deadly weapon was reported when
a bottle was thrown at officers in the 17000 block at 12:03 a.m.
Saturday.
* Hess Lane: It was reported that someone hit a pizza delivery
driver and stole his pizza in the 2000 block at 12:11 a.m. Saturday.
* Evergreen Circle and Summerdale Drive: It was reported that a
van driving without its lights on stole another van by hooking the
second van to its vehicle at 2:16 a.m. Saturday.
* Goldenwest Street: It was reported that a child of about 1 year
was sleeping inside a vehicle alone with the window down and no
parents in sight in the 16500 block at 12:17 a.m. Saturday.
* Mason Drive: A woman reported that another woman threatened to
kill her and that she had a gun in her car in the 6500 block at 1
P.m. Saturday.
* Applecross Lane: It was reported that a pick up truck with the
windows rolled up was running for more than two and a half hours with
a German Shepard inside in the 1000 block at 5:35 p.m. Saturday.
* Whitesands Lane: A woman reported that she found a bottle with
gasoline and a stuffed rag in it at the side of her apartment. The
rag had burned and fizzled out in the 2000 block at 5:53 p.m.
Saturday.
* Lake Street: A woman reported that she found a man in her house
and that he asked her who she was. He was out of it and she thinks he
came through the window in the 300 block at 7:09 p.m. Saturday.
* Rainbow Circle: A man called and reported that a man was
breaking into his house and is trying to kill him in the 7500 block
at 1:39 a.m. Saturday.
* Ontario Drive: A woman called to report that either shots were
fired at her front door or rocks thrown in the 7500 block at 4:46
a.m. Saturday.
* Edinger Avenue: A man reported that a man pushed his pregnant
wife down at a fast food restaurant in the 7000 block at 1:14 p.m.
Friday.
* Talbert Avenue: A woman reported that she called for a tow
truck and when the driver arrived he threatened that she was going to
be his next kidnapping and rape victim in the 80000 block at 3:22
p.m. Friday.
* Brookhurst Street: A person reported that two subjects were
playing football at the tennis courts in their complex and wouldn’t
stop or leave in the 20000 block at 8:54 p.m. Friday.
* Center Avenue: A woman reported that she received a bomb threat
at the bar where she worked in the 7500 block at 11:46 p.m. Friday.
* Warner Avenue: A woman, 22, who was just released from jail
with methamphetamine charges was reported to be on drugs and
disturbing the peace in the 6500 block at 11:56 p.m. Friday.
