MUSIC FESTIVAL
The Laguna Beach Chamber Music Festival, presented by Laguna Beach
Live!, runs through Sunday in collaboration with the Philharmonic
Society of Orange County and Laguna Chamber Music Society. Using
money from the city’s Community Assistance Program and from the
lodging establishments of Laguna through the Business Improvement
District, the Festival is designed to involve as much of the city as
possible, especially directed to people of all levels of music
sophistication, and to the county and beyond. For program and ticket

GARDEN VOYAGE
Biologist, world traveler and lecturer Gary James will present
“Lost Islands of the Mid Atlantic Ridge: A Voyage from Chile to

SATURDAY
WEEKEND HIKES
Laguna Coast Wilderness Park offers unguided hikes on specified
trails at Jim Dilley Greenbelt Preserve Saturdays and Sundays from 8
a.m. to 4 p.m. Dogs are prohibited. The Willow Canyon Road staging
area on Laguna Canyon Road is open during the same hours for unguided
hiking, equestrian travel and mountain biking on specified trails.

IT’S YOUR ESTATE
The SchoolPower Endowment and Capital Fund, the Laguna Canyon
Foundation, and the American Red Cross will sponsor an eight-week
educational workshop that will cover whether the new estate tax law
is helpful or not, the disadvantages of a living trust, and how to
obtain “must have” health care legal documents for less than $5. The
sessions will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. every Tuesday through May
27 in the third floor community room at the Wells Fargo Building, 260
Ocean Ave. Seating is limited and reservations are required.

BIBLE STUDY
The semester for Word Study Laguna Beach, a community
nondenominational, non-exclusive Bible study, will begin at noon at
the Calvary Evangelical Free Church. The theme is “Taking Hold of
Hope.” Word Study Laguna Beach is an independent ministry of Word
Study International and meets weekly from noon to 1 p.m. in the
church at 468 Legion St. All are welcome to participate in the short

BABY YOGA
Parents and babies can explore the joyful bonding experience of
yoga together in a new series of classes at Laguna Yoga. The series
has five classes left, from 1 to 1:45 p.m. every Wednesday, skipping

An exhibit focusing on the art of ceramics by Festival of Arts
exhibitors is being presented at the Downtown Laguna Beach Wells
Fargo through May 5. It features the diverse and exciting works of

Fred Stodder and Scott Young.
BRIDGE
The Round Robin Bridge Club, sponsored by the Woman’s Club of
Laguna Beach, holds bridge games from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. every
