The Surf City Art Show and Business Expo Saturday and Sunday will

feature a juried art show, business displays from local companies and

The Pier Plaza Art A-Faire

“Lovers and Executioners,” presented by the Masters Repertory

Company and directed by John Strand, is adapted from a 17th century

A free “hard rock jam” benefiting the nonprofit organization

“Unlocking Autism” will take place at Kozmos at Pacific Coast Highway

At the first annual

Huntington Beach Sand Castle Festival, spectators can watch 50

teams compete in six categories for cash and prizes. In addition,

professional artists will create a 60-foot dragon taking over a

castle, which will require moving 800 tons of sand and will be the

centerpiece of the Festival. Co-sponsored by the Huntington Beach

Conference and Visitors Bureau, net proceeds will benefit “Save Our

Beach” to improve water quality along the Southern California

The 24th annual Amigos de

Bolsa Chica event to raise funds for efforts to promote

conservation and education at the Bolsa Chica wetlands will start at

8:30 a.m. Events include a 10K Run at 8:30 a.m., 5K Run at 8:40 a.m.

and Fun Walk at 8:45 a.m. at Bolsa Chica State Beach’s north parking

lot near Warner Avenue. Enter on Pacific Coast Highway at the

The National Multiple

Sclerosis Society Orange County Chapter will hold its 21st annual

cycling adventure from Huntington Beach State Beach to Mission Bay in

San Diego. After course completion, coach buses will transport riders

and their bicycles back to Huntington Beach State Beach. The cost is

$50. Every participant is also required to collect a minimum of $250

before the event. Proceeds benefit programs and services for people

Concert Band is an all-volunteer community organization with

approximately 70 members, led by music director Tom Ridley. Founded

in February 1973, the band plays a wide variety of musical styles --
