A man who said he was having a bad drug reaction was taken to a hospital Saturday after running around shirtless at Edison High School, Huntington Beach police said.
Officers responded to the school, at 21400 Magnolia Street, at about 3:20 p.m. after receiving a call about a shirtless man running around with a stick near the tennis courts, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.
Department spokeswoman Jennifer Marlatt said the man told officers that he was having a bad reaction to ingesting acid, Marlatt said.
Medics took him to a local hospital for treatment.
Marlatt said he was not arrested.
