The Clippers will play the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday in the second leg of a back-to-back after losing to the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, 106-98.
The short-handed Clippers, who were playing without Blake Griffin (staph infection in right elbow) and Jamal Crawford (right calf contusion), have lost two games in a row.
The Clippers (40-23) are in fifth place in the Western Conference, 25 games ahead of the last-place Timberwolves (14-47).
The Timberwolves, who beat Portland on Saturday, are trying to put together their second winning streak of the season.
The last time the teams played -- in Minnesota on March 2 -- the Clippers won, 110-105. In that game, Chris Paul led the Clippers with 26 points and 14 assists.
Paul had an iffy moment Sunday after he knocked knees with Warriors’ Stephen Curry. X-rays on Paul’s left knee taken after the game came back negative.
