Update: The Ducks will look again to secure a playoff spot with either a standings point or an Arizona loss. In the absence of left wing David Perron, they reconfigured their lines Tuesday. Brandon Pirri played with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry on the top line. Jamie McGinn played with Rickard Rakell and Mike Santorelli. Toronto is eliminated from playoff contention but rookie William Nylander, 19, is all the rage with four goals and three assists in his first 12 games. Toronto Coach Mike Babcock told reporters Wednesday that goalie Garret Sparks will start, and center Tyler Bozak is expected to return from a Feb. 6. head injury.
