An inspiration: Jaide Bucher, one-handed softball player

Jaide Bucher, who plays high school softball with one hand, is the focus of a Gatorade spotlight, “Win From Within.”

The Denver high school sophomore (Northglenn High) is profiled in the series. She was born with one hand but is playing catcher in softball.

She got to meet former major leaguer Jim Abbott, who also was born with one hand. See video above for her story.
