Baseball: Former Chatsworth pitcher Aaron Brown improves to 9-1 for Pepperdine

Former Chatsworth pitcher Aaron Brown threw seven shutout innings on Sunday, improving to 9-1 and lowering his ERA to 2.34 on the season in helping Pepperdine defeat Loyola Marymount, 16-3. The Waves are in first place in the West Coast Conference.
Freshman Aaron Barnett from Capistrano Valley leads the team in hitting at .366. Brown, a two-way player, is batting .333. Former Loyola standout Brandon Caruso is hitting .309 as a freshman.
Corey Miller from JSerra is 7-3 with a 1.28 ERA.
