Boys’ basketball: 48-team tournament set for December at Damien High

Mike LeDuc, using his many connections as a longtime basketball coach, has put together a 48-team tournament for Dec. 26-30 at Damien High in La Verne. It will be called The Classic at Damien.
It will have three 16-team brackets based on strength of the program.
Among the teams signed up are Santa Ana Mater Dei, Etiwanda, Corona Centennial, Crespi, Santa Monica, Long Beach Poly, Moreau Catholic from Northern California and Las Vegas Centennial.
San Dimas and Life Pacific College also will be used as sites for the tournament.
