Football: Desean Holmes is making big plays for Alemany

Whenever junior receiver Desean Holmes of Alemany catches a pass, there’s a good chance he’ll gain more than just a few yards.
He’s averaging 20.8 yards a catch this season for the Warriors (9-2), who play Servite (6-5) in a Pac-5 Division quarterfinal game on Friday at Cerritos College. He has caught 57 passes for 1,185 yards and seven touchdowns.
