Football: John Elway still being celebrated at Granada Hills High

Hall of Famer John Elway hasn’t walked the halls of his alma mater, Granada Hills High, since he graduated in 1979, but the school hasn’t forgotten about him.
As part of an NFL celebration of past Super Bowl participants, Granada Hills received a gold football honoring Elway’s participation in five Super Bowls.
He played 16 years for the Denver Broncos after graduating from Stanford.
