The Serra League begins action on Friday night, and the top running back in the league might be Loyola High senior Nico Evans, who has rushed for 921 yards in six games, including nine touchdowns in his last two games. He has 13 overall.
He was a member of Loyola’s record-breaking 400-meter relay team last spring as a junior. He has former USC assistant Kennedy Polamalu coaching him.
