Football: Venice leads Chaminade, 21-0

Like last season, Venice has started fast against Chaminade and has opened a 21-0 lead in the first quarter.
Tayon Blockmon ran 92 yards with an interception to the two-yard line, setting up a two-yard TD run by Alexander Diamont.
Diamont also made a short pass to DaJuan Parham, who went 74 yards for a touchdown. Alijah Lee scored on a 22-yard screen pass from Diamont.
Chaminade’s offense has done nothing in four possessions, with an interception and fumble.
Update: Chaminade has closed to within 21-14 early in the second quarter on a pair of touchdown runs by Donovan Lee of 9 and 4 yards.
