Grant Coach Howie Levine will sing national anthem before City Section Open Division final

Grant basketball Coach Howard Levine has been booked to sing the national anthem before the City Section Open Division final next month at Cal State Dominguez Hills.
But Levine could be a little busy. His team has won 12 consecutive games going into this week, and what happens if Grant is in the Open Division?
“I never cancel a performance,” Levine said.
Levine has been singing Frank Sinatra tunes at night clubs for years. He also has sung the national anthem at Dodger Stadium.
He has been the basketball coach at Grant for 30 years. The court was named after him this year. Grant is scheduled to play North Hollywood on Wednesday for first place in the East Valley League. Grant is expected to be in the Division I playoffs.
And we’ll get to hear him sing, too.
