After being named the Executive Director at El Camino Real, David Hussey is stepping down as co-coach of the Conquistadores’ boys’ soccer team. Ian Kogan will take over.
Hussey has been coaching the team for 23 years, winning five City Section titles.
After the resignation of Dave Fehte, Hussey was chosen to take over running the school. It’s a one-year contract, and he will be evaluated at the end of the school year.
“I love working with kids,” Hussey said. “I will be supporting them when I can.”
He said El Camino Real should be a City title contender this season.
