Chris Long seems ready for his Hollywood debut.
When the Rams move to Los Angeles this year, their longtime defensive end will have a nice little TV clip to bring with him to show to any potential agents out there.
Long appeared on a Charlottesville, Va., newscast Wednesday night during a segment on the night’s $1.6-billion Powerball drawing -- although he doesn’t quite look or act like himself.
Identified as “Chris Long, hopeful Powerball player,” he wears a thick, fake moustache to go with dark sunglasses and hunting gear, and he talks about what he and his “old lady” plan to do with their winnings.
“If we win, we’re going down to Myrtle Beach for about 10 months and we’re going to get a timeshare and the whole nine yards,” Long said on camera. “Maybe a big boat, a couple boats, you know, a lot of boats. And we’re going to have a great time.”
Long, the son of Hall of Fame defensive end Howie Long, joked on Twitter that appearing on the local news fulfilled a lifelong dream, although he added that the station got his name wrong.
He also shared some good advice.
