Gardena Serra linebacker John Houston announces favorite schools

USC made the cut for John Houston, a linebacker at Gardena Serra High, who announced his top five schools on Friday.

“USC, Arizona State, Miami, Oklahoma, Oregon,” Houston wrote on Twitter.

Houston is scheduled to visit USC in January. He has already visited the other four schools.

Defensive lineman Rasheem Green, Houston’s teammate, announced his top four schools on Tuesday – and USC was among them.

Houston and Green have long been considered USC leans.

USC’s roster features five Serra players: receiver George Farmer, cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, linebacker Olajuwon Tucker, quarterback Jalen Greene and walk-on cornerback Jalen Jones.
