You’ll never lose touch with this high-tech umbrella

How many umbrellas have you accidentally left behind? The new Davek Alert Umbrella makes that hard to do.
A bluetooth beacon chip is embedded in its handle. When synced with your bluetooth-enabled phone and activated using a free app, the device lets you track the distance between the umbrella and the phone.
If you’re more than 30 feet away, you’ll get a visual alert on your phone that says, “Umbrella is out of range.”
The umbrella, about a foot long when closed, has a 43-inch diameter canopy. The tightly woven microfiber fabric canopy comes in black or blue.
Info: Davek Alert Umbrella costs $125.
