Pack up the kids and head south in October, when the San Diego Zoo holds its annual Kids Free Days.
Children ages 11 and younger will be admitted free Oct. 1 to 31 when accompanied by an adult. (Tickets for children 3 to 11 usually cost $19.75.)
Also, to celebrate its Founders Day, all guests — children and adults — will be admitted free Oct. 3. (Adult tickets usually cost $32.)
