San Diego Film Festival to open

Film fans can choose from among about 100 feature, documentary and short films and music videos screened in the Gaslamp Quarter. Offerings include the opening- night comedy “Kabluey,” starring Lisa Kudrow and Chris Parnell.
When, where: Sept. 27 to 30. Screenings are at Pacific Gaslamp Theatre, 701 5th Ave. Panels are at Borders Books & Music, 668 6th Ave.
Cost: Passes are $49 to $300. Tickets for individual screenings are $10.
